Enhancing accessibility of financial and livelihood resources to the rural women in Nyamira
Nyamira North Women Sacco aims to strengthen women’s capacity to lead and manage their own businesses through access to training and skills development, innovation processes bench-marking, productive farm inputs, and market access for their produce. Also, the organization carries out advocacy and sensitization activities to reduce violence against women and girls
Nyamira North Women Sacco is a female-owned organization founded and registered with the Ministry of Trade and Cooperatives on 8th, May same 2014.The society is situated at Ekerenyo, Nyamira North District along Nyamira- Ikonge road.It mobilizes financial resources that offer savings and credit facilities to its members. The Cooperatives also implements livelihood projects in various agricultural value chains i.e. local indigeneous vegetable production (spider plant,Black night shade, Cow peas,Jute Mallow,Amaranthus) and mushroom.
