Soko Freshi Exhibition 2022

The events seek to bring together farmers and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector; Farm inputs suppliers, manufacturers, administration, partners, and supporters of Bosinya Women CBO.

Farmers and other innovators in the agricultural industry will be able to showcase their innovations and also have the opportunity to sell their produce. A one-stop shop model which is in line with the theme “Women in Agriculture, Innovation and Technology”

Bosinya women CBO is an organization of over 13 women groups with a membership of over 300, drawn from three neighbouring wards (Manga, Magombo, and Bosamaro) in Nyamira county. The organization’s aim is to strengthen women capacity to lead and manage their businesses. Through access to training and capacity-building programmes, innovative processes bench-marking, linkages with farm input suppliers, and market information.

Through the support of the International Solidarity Foundation (ISF), the organization has been able to undertake livelihood resilience projects for women farmers and also run sensitization campaigns to reduce cases of violence against women and girls (VAWG)
